[Overview]

From a fragmented presence to a clearer digital identity

When I joined Worklab, the company already had a website and a visual identity, but they did not fully reflect the personality of the software company behind them. During the three years I spent at Worklab, I worked on the evolution of that identity across the website, brand and social channels.

The work combined design and development to create a more coherent digital presence. The objective was to make Worklab feel more modern, structured and recognizable while keeping the professional tone expected from a technology partner.

[Brand evolution]

A more flexible identity for a growing communication system

As Worklab began expanding its communication through LinkedIn and Instagram, the visual identity needed to become more flexible. The existing logo had limitations across formats and lacked the visual impact the company needed for a broader communication ecosystem.

I redesigned the mark with a simpler and more versatile structure, creating a stronger base for a wider identity. That new direction unified the brand and the digital experience under one visual language that could extend across the website, social media and other digital touchpoints.

[Website redesign]

Two website versions built around clearer structure and stronger positioning

I designed two versions of the original website. The first preserved most of the existing content, and after several iterations we moved into a second version with a stronger and more robust communication approach. Together with a collaborator, we ran a competitive benchmark focused on positioning, clarity and SEO.

My work focused on improving the structure, visual hierarchy and overall experience to create a cleaner and more modern image for the company. The full website was designed in Figma and, because the existing site ran on WordPress, I also handled the front-end development using HTML5, Sass and vanilla JavaScript.

[Outcome]

A more coherent and scalable digital presence

What began as a website redesign gradually became a broader evolution of Worklab’s digital identity. Across two website versions, a redesigned logo, a visual system and a new approach to social media, the goal remained consistent: create a modern and recognizable presence that represented Worklab more accurately as a software company.

The final system gave the company a stronger foundation for communication, with visual criteria that could scale across brand applications, website content and ongoing digital campaigns.
